Re-discovering her creative practice Graquandra, egnighted a study on the origins of daily product consumption. In this case coffee sparked a multidisciplinary research project. As another cell of the extractivist macro-capitalist system, Graquandra’s turn on agriculture stems from her support in Latin American agrarian reforms. Supporting those who fight for right of the land, for his wisdom ancestral and all tirakuna (being land) Graquandra aimed to stir conversation on agrarian rights using art. The work involves a performative and interactive element, rather a social interventions if one may, as a form of activism.
Considering circular methods creation in order to distribute accessible decolonial messages in a trecherous colonial sight.
